Hans Sixtus

Johannes "Hans" Sixtus (born October 10, 1907 in Dömitz ; † December 2, 1975 ) was a German brewery manager and association official.

Life

Sixtus began his training as an authorized signatory in the Rose Brewery in Grabow, Mecklenburg. In 1933 he got a job as operations manager at the Schultheiss brewery in Berlin, where he later became general manager of the Schultheiss group. In this function he took over the office of president of the experimental and educational institute for brewing from 1955 to 1976 . In 1958 he was made an honorary senator of the Technical University of Berlin . From 1958 to 1962 he also served as President of the German Brewers Association .

Hans Sixtus died in 1975 at the age of 68. His grave is on the state's own cemetery in Heerstraße in Berlin-Westend (grave location: II-Wald-22).
