Hans Sponnier

Hans Sponnier (also: Sponier (artist name); born June 23, 1889 in Werl (Westphalia), † April 14, 1970 in Munich ) was a draftsman and graphic artist. Sponnier lived and worked in Bavaria since 1919. After studying at the Knirrschule and at the Munich Art Academy with Peter (von) Halm , his center of life was in Murnau am Staffelsee . Sponnier's work includes more or less naturalistic graphics, including a. Landscapes, buildings and cityscapes from Murnau, Soest and Werl and the surrounding area.
