Hans Tölkes

Hans Tölkes (born February 10, 1935 in Mötsch , today in Bitburg ) is a German politician ( CDU ). He was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament from 1983 to 1996 .

Life

Hans Tölkes, who is of Catholic denomination, attended elementary school and grammar school and in 1955 passed the Abitur at the modern language grammar school in Bitburg. He then did an apprenticeship in the carpentry trade with a journeyman's examination from 1955 to 1956 and attended courses at a carpentry school. From 1956 to 1960 he studied to become a teacher at vocational schools at the state vocational education institute in Cologne and at the University of Cologne. In 1959 he passed the theoretical master craftsman's examination in the carpentry trade and was a trainee teacher at the commercial vocational school in Trier from 1960 to 1962. In 1962 the second examination for the teaching post for higher service in vocational schools followed. In 1971 he resigned from school as a senior teacher and was from 1971 to 1983 head of training and further education at the Streif group of companies in Vettelschoss .

politics

1968 became a member of the CDU and from 1972 to 1974 was a member of the board of the CDU local association Prüm and then from 1974 to 1981 chairman of the CDU community association Prüm. In 1981 he was elected chairman of the CDU district association Bitburg-Prüm , in 1981 a member of the state party committee and in 1982 a member of the CDU district committee in Trier.

In terms of local politics, he was a member of the city council of Prüm from 1974 to 1981, from 1979 to 1984 a member of the Prüm municipal council and chairman of the parliamentary group there, and in 1984 a member of the district council and the district committee. In 1984 he was a member of the board of the Rhineland-Palatinate district council. 1989 to 2004 first member of the district and deputy chairman of the administrative board of Kreissparkasse Bitburg-Prüm .

From May 18, 1983 to May 19, 1996 he was a member of the state parliament in the 10th to 12th electoral term. In the first two elections he was elected via the list in the 12th electoral term directly in the constituency of Bitburg-Prüm . In the state parliament he was a secretary in the 10th WP, a member of the committee for agriculture, viticulture and forestry, the petitions committee and the interregional parliamentary council. In the 11th WP he was a member of the Committee on Agriculture, Viticulture and Forestry, the Interior Committee, the Petitions Committee, the Study Commission “Work in Industrial Society”, the Study Commission “Financing of Municipal Institutions” and the interregional parliamentary council. In the 12th WP he was a member of the Committee on European Affairs, the Interior Committee and the interregional parliamentary council.

In addition, he was chairman of Lebenshilfe Prüm eV from 1983 to 2010
