Hans Westerholt

Hans Westerholt (born March 28, 1906 in Bad Zwischenahn ; † August 22, 1967 in Sanderbusch ) was a German politician ( DP , GDP , CDU ).

Westerholt initially worked as a retail salesman and later as a bookseller. He had been a NSDAP member since May 1, 1937, membership number 5274155. After the Second World War he joined the German Party (DP), became a member of the All-German Party (GDP) in 1961 and switched to the CDU in the 1960s. From 1952 to 1967 he was mayor of Bad Zwischenahn. From February 1, 1967, when he replaced Clemens Pölking , until the end of the legislative period on June 5, 1967, he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (5th electoral period).
