Hans Wilhelm Hetzler

Hans Wilhelm Hetzler (born July 8, 1929 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German sociologist.

Life

From 1948 to 1955 , Hetzler studied classical studies , history and economics in his native Frankfurt. He then worked until 1958 as a research assistant at the Rationalization Board of German Business . 1959 followed his doctorate to Dr. rer. pole. in Munster . From 1955 to 1965 Hetzler worked as a research assistant at the Social Research Center at the University of Münster and then as a research assistant at the Chair of Sociology at the Technical University of Berlin , where he qualified as a professor in 1969 . From 1973 to 1995 he was professor for sociology in Hamburg .

The main focus of his research included economic , work and industrial sociology .
