Hans Zimmermann (painter)

Hans Zimmermann (* 1881 in Düsseldorf ; † 1961 there ) was a German painter .

Life

Hans Zimmermann studied painting at the Düsseldorf Art Academy from 1886 to 1902 . There were serious Roeber , Willy Spatz , Peter Janssen the Elder , Eugen Dücker his teachers. Zimmermann was a member of the artists' association Malkasten . In 1920 he took part in a "support exhibition" in Düsseldorf and in a "jury-free art exhibition" organized by the association for the organization of art exhibitions , which also took place in Düsseldorf from May 16 to October 5, 1930.
