Hans van der Heide

Hans van der Heide (born December 22, 1958 in Den Helder , Netherlands ) is a Dutch composer and musician .

Life

Hans van der Heide studied trumpet at the Sweelinck Music Academy in Amsterdam . Immediately afterwards he became principal trumpeter with the Royal Military Band (KMK) in The Hague . There he worked as court arranger for a long time. He received another diploma as Kapellmeister from the Royal Music School in The Hague. Further studies led him to Marcel Peeters in Belgium . In addition to arranging, Hans van der Heide is now also increasingly devoting himself to composing and is currently studying further studies with Klaas de Vries at the Rotterdam Conservatory .
