Hansjörg Baltes
Hansjörg (Jacky) Baltes (born August 11, 1964 in Munich ) is a former German speed skater .
Sports
Baltes set a German record (Federal Republic of Germany) over 1500 meters with a time of 1: 56.76 minutes on November 15, 1987 in Inzell . In 1985, 1987 and 1988 he won the German championship title in four-way combat. He also took part in the Winter Olympics in 1984 and 1988.
Academic career
Hansjörg (Jacky) Baltes is currently Professor of Computer Science at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg , Canada . His research topics are robotics , AI and machine learning .
