Hansjörg Huber

Hansjörg Michael Huber (* 1960 in Cologne ) is a German lawyer , professor at the Zittau / Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and has been a deputy member of the G 10 Commission since 2018 .

Life

Huber studied law and history in Munich from 1979. He passed the first state examination in law in 1985, the second state examination in law and the master’s examination in history in 1988/89. From 1989 to the end of 1992 he was a member of the Graduate School for Legal History at the University of Frankfurt / Main . In 2000 he was with the dissertation Colonial self-government in German South West Africa: creation, codification and implementation doctorate .

Huber is a member of the board of trustees of the AfD- affiliated Desiderius Erasmus Foundation .

Huber is also an assessor on the board of the Saxony regional association of the Association for German Cultural Relations Abroad .

The AfD unsuccessfully nominated him in November 2018 as the successor to Ferdinand Kirchhof as a judge at the Federal Constitutional Court , but the Union, SPD, Greens and FDP had already committed to Stephan Harbarth .

Research and Teaching

Huber is Professor of State - and administrative law at the University of Zittau / Görlitz , Faculty of Social Sciences , in calling area law of social work .

In 2011, Huber received the bid to buy the castle in Oderwitz . However, the decision to sell to Huber was subsequently revised because he not only wanted to use the manor privately, but also planned to set up a research institute.
