Hansruedi Jordi

Hansruedi Jordi (born January 1, 1945 in Solothurn ) is a Swiss jazz musician ( trumpet , piano, flugelhorn , vocals).

Jordi first learned the piano. At the age of 16 he switched to the trumpet. After working as an organ teacher and salesman (album My Keyboard World ), he worked as a school music teacher until 2006 and played in the Swing Line Big-Band Bern under the direction of Martin Hurni.

There were two albums with the Happy Dixiland Band . He received the Swiss Jazz Award in 2007 with the Loverfield Jazz Band . He also worked with jazz greats such as Ian Wheeler , John Crocker , Leroy Jones , Bernita Bush and others. a.
