Harald Grieger

Harald Grieger (born March 19, 1945 in Berlin ; † October 17, 2012 in Poland ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Grieger finished his school career in 1963 with secondary school leaving certificate and then began training with the police. Until 1990 he worked for the police service. He joined the Schöneberg district association of the CDU in 1968. From 1971 to 1985 he was a member of the Schöneberg District Assembly. On September 5, 1985, he replaced Gerhard Lawrentz in the Berlin House of Representatives . He was a member of this until 1989 and then again from 1991 to 1999, at times directly elected in the constituency of Schöneberg 3 . He was also active in the police union and the Union relief organization. Grieger ended his political career when he left the House of Representatives. He spent the last years of his life in Poland, where he was also buried. He had three children.
