Live and act

The son of an engineer attended high school and studied mathematics and mechanical engineering at the university after graduating from high school . In addition, Holberg took violin lessons and received training in singing, acting and dancing. After a short military service , Harald Holberg made his debut as an actor in 1941 at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin. Finally he made the leap to film, which kept him busy until the end of the war in 1945 and saved him from having to be called up again.

Soon after the war ended in 1945, Holberg returned to the theater and worked on stages in Berlin such as Die Tribüne and the Hebbeltheater . In 1950 Holberg moved to Hamburg and accepted an engagement from the local Kammerspiele . At this time, he was now back in front of the camera more often. There Holberg embodied young men of all kinds without being particularly noticeable with a certain role.
