Harald Kügler (producer)

Harald Kügler (* 20th century ) is a German film producer .

Life

Harald Kügler studied economics and industrial engineering. From 1971 he worked in the film sector as a production and line manager. In 1985 he became a producer and partner in Munich's Olga-Film. There he built u. a. the ZDF crime film series Kommissarin Lucas . In 2016 he stepped down from the management, but remained as a freelance producer.

In 2001 he was honored with the Bavarian Film Prize for The Solitude of the Crocodiles . For Cherry Blossoms - Hanami , he was awarded the Bavarian Film Prize and the German Silver Film Prize in 2008 . In 2011 he was awarded the German Film Prize and the Jupiter for Vincent will Meer .

Kügler is a member of the German Film Academy .
