Harald Lemke (philosopher)

Harald Lemke (* 1965 ) is a German philosopher and cultural scientist. Lemke teaches and researches in the areas of nutritional ethics and gastrosophy .

Career

Harald Lemke studied philosophy and history in Konstanz , Hamburg and Berkeley from 1986 to 1993 ; 1998 doctorate in philosophy at the University of Frankfurt am Main (supervisor: Axel Honneth ). Between 1997 and 1999 Lemke was state deputy and spokesman for the regional working group on cultural policy at GAL Hamburg . In 2006 he completed his habilitation with the Venia Legendi for philosophy and cultural studies . From 2000 Lemke was a lecturer at the Institute for Cultural Theory, Cultural Research and the Arts in the field of philosophy at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg . Since 2009 he has been teaching at the Center for Gastrosophy. Nutrition - Culture - Society of the University of Salzburg . He is the managing director, director and scientific director of the "International Gastrosophie Forum" in Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer .
