Harald Nehrkorn

Harald Nehrkorn (born July 9, 1910 ; † 2006 ) was a German mathematician and headmaster of the Hermann Lietz School at Schloss Bieberstein .

In February 1933 he received his doctorate with Emil Artin in Hamburg with the dissertation: About the class groups and units in algebraic number fields . In November 1933 he and Artin signed the German professors' commitment to Adolf Hitler . He passed the teaching state examination in mathematics and physics on December 8, 1933. He then worked as a research assistant ( university assistant ) in the Hamburg Seminar for Mathematics. From 1946 to 1976 he was a teacher at the Hermann Lietz School at Schloss Bieberstein, where he became headmaster. From 1958 to 1959 he was the head of the Hermann Lietz School Foundation. He used learning to glide as an element of holistic pedagogy.
