Harald Wertz

Harald Wertz (* 1947 in Friedrichshafen ) is a German computer scientist and university professor.

Career

After an apprenticeship as a machine setter, Wertz attended the Eberhard-Ludwigs-Gymnasium in Stuttgart as part of his adult education, where he obtained his university entrance qualification (Abitur) in 1970. In the same year he went to France, where he studied mathematics and computer science at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie, UPMC, also Paris 6. From 1978 to 2015 he researched and taught as a professor at the Faculty of Computer Science at the Université Paris VIII Vincennes – Saint-Denis . In the years after the dissolution of the Soviet Union , at the request of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, his university sent him to Tbilisi , Georgia , to the institute for computer science at the university build up.
