Harald von Bose

Harald von Bose (born November 14, 1955 in Hamburg ) is a German ministerial advisor and data protection expert .

Life

He comes from the noble von Bose family . Harald von Bose studied at the University of Bonn and received his doctorate there in 1989 with the dissertation Republic and Mixed Constitution - on the theory of forms of government in the Federalist Papers . He has been a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn since 1977 .

Harald von Bose was elected to the state data protection officer of Saxony-Anhalt on March 3, 2005 at the session of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt on the proposal of the state government . He took up this position on March 16, 2005 as the successor to Klaus-Rainer Kalk . In addition, since October 1, 2008, von Bose has also been performing the duties of the State Commissioner for Freedom of Information.
