Haraldur Einarsson

Haraldur Einarsson (born September 24, 1987 in Selfoss ) is an Icelandic athlete and politician of the Progress Party .

Haraldur is a trained carpenter, studied environmental and civil engineering at the University of Iceland and works as a farmer on the Urriðafoss farm by the waterfall of the same name in Selfoss (municipality of Árborg ). In 2013 he became the Icelandic champion in the 60-meter indoor run.

Since the Icelandic parliamentary election on April 27, 2013 , Haraldur was a member of the Icelandic parliament Althing for the southern constituency . He was a member of Parliament's Committee on Environment and Communication. Haraldur did not run for the general election in Iceland in 2016 because he wanted to turn back to agriculture.
