Hardee's is a US-based fast-food chain based in St. Louis , Missouri , whose specialty , the so-called "Thickburger" Beef - Hamburger are.
However, the chain is also traditionally known for its biscuits (soft, small yeast rolls ) and its hexagonal buildings. The company was founded in 1960 by Wilbur Hardee in North Carolina and is now mainly in the Southeast and Midwest of the USA. One of the slogans is “a fast food experience that can't be topped this side of the Mississippi ” (“a fast food experience that cannot be topped this side of the Mississippi ”). What is meant is the eastern side of the Mississippi, where the company has a particularly large number of branches.
In 1997, Hardee's was taken over by CKE Restaurants , the parent company of Carl's Jr. , and the Hardees logo was given a smiling star, which also characterizes the Carl's logo. In 2001 the company's headquarters were relocated from Rocky Mount to St. Louis .
