Hardy Crueger
Hardy Crueger , born Hardy Krüger (* 1962 in Oldenburg ) is a German writer . Since 2004 he has been using the stage name Hardy Crueger to avoid confusion with the actor of the same name, Hardy Krüger . Crueger lives in Braunschweig .
Life
After training in industry, Crueger obtained the university entrance qualification at the Institute for Adult Education ( Braunschweig-Kolleg ) in Braunschweig . He did community service in geriatric care and studied political science, sociology and history at the Technical University of Braunschweig .
In the early 1980s, Hardy Crueger gained his first stage experience as a guitarist and bassist, which he benefited from reading from the 1990s onwards in the context of the literary underground movement Social Beat . After the first volume of the Rick Xaver Morton romance trilogy ( RXM , 1996-2006), the final turn to literature came with the novel Glashaus (2004).
Hardy Crueger has been a freelance writer and lecturer in creative writing since 2009 . In addition to managing the Braunschweig crime thriller workshop , he organizes literary events and carries out numerous literary projects, such as readings staged together with actor Roland Kremer that go far beyond simply reading texts aloud. Since 2010 readings of the crime stories Oker stories together with jazz musicians.
