Hardy Fischötter (born April 12, 1961 in Leonberg ) is a German modern jazz drummer .

Fischötter studied from 1984 to 1988 at the Cologne University of Music with Peter Giger and then continued his studies at the Arnhem Conservatory until 1989 . In 1988 Hinrich Franck brought him into his "Franck Band", in whose recordings he is involved. With this group, to which he still belongs to this day, he also performed at the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal and the Moers Festival . He is also a member of Susan Weinert's band . He played with Silvia Droste at the North Sea Jazz Festival . He also worked with Gunter Hampel , Charlie Mariano , Frank Nimsgern , Gregory Gaynor, Adam Holzman , The Supremes , Stefan Raab , and since 2005 at Supercharge . Tours have taken him to Africa, India, Siberia, North America and Europe. He taught at various drum schools and played musicals a. a. at the Saarbrücken State Theater . In Cologne he is also working on his CosmicSpaceDrift project .
