The Hargreaves Glacier is a glacier on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It flows 3 km west of Mount Caroline Mikkelsen in the middle of the head end of the Sandefjord Ice Bay .
The American cartographer John Hobbie Roscoe (1919-2007) mapped it using aerial photographs of Operation Highjump (1946-1947). Roscoe named the glacier after Richard Bryan Hargeaves (1915-1995), who took these aerial photographs. Likelihood of confusion with the named also after Hargreaves Hargreavesbreen in Queen Maud Land .
