The Hargreavesbreen is a short and steep glaciers in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Sør Rondane mountains it flows in a north-westerly direction between the Nils Larsenfjellet and the Widerøefjellet .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped it in 1957 using aerial photographs of the US Operation Highjump (1946–1947). It is named after the American aerial photographer Richard Bryan Hargeaves (1915–1995), who created these aerial photographs. There is a risk of confusion with the Hargreaves Glacier, also named after Hargreaves, in Princess Elisabeth Land .
