Harold M. Etherington
Harold M. Etherington (born before 1971) is a sound engineer .
Life
Etherington began his career in the early 1970s and made his film debut in 1971 with Dalton Trumbo's anti-war film Johnny Goes to War . After a few smaller film productions, he worked on Richard Fleischer's action film The Law I Am with in 1974 . 1977 he worked for Arthur Hiller's action comedy Silver Streak together with Donald O. Mitchell , Douglas O. Williams and Richard Tyler for the Oscar in the category Best Sound nominated, but the award went this year to Alan J. Pakula Drama The Incorruptible . His last major Hollywood production was Brian De Palma 's Vicious Alpha from 1978.
In 1988 he worked again as sound engineer on Mike Jittlov's low-budget film Magic Movie , in which he was seen in a small role as director of the film studio.
