Harri Anne Smith

Harri Anne Smith (born January 20, 1962 in Houston County , Alabama ) is an American Republican politician and a Senator in the Alabama Senate since 1998 .

Smith graduated from Troy State University in Dothan . Her political career began in 1989 when she in the City Council of Slocomb ( Slocomb City Council ) has been selected. She was a member of the city council until 1996, when she became mayor of the city that year. Smith was elected to the Alabama Senate in 1998. She was able to defend her mandate in the following elections.
