Harri Koskela

Harri Matias Koskela (born October 8, 1965 in Lapua ) is a former Finnish wrestler. The 1.85 meter tall Harri Koskela wrestled in the Greco-Roman style in the light heavyweight division.

His international career began in 1984 and ended with a 20th place at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta . At the Olympic Games in 1988 he was second behind Atanas Komchev from Bulgaria. In 1990 he was second again behind Maik Bullmann from the GDR at the World Championships in Ostia . A year later he was third at the world championships, behind Bullmann and the Cuban Reynaldo Pena Borroto . At the 1992 Olympics, he was only eleventh.

In Finland, where he competed for the clubs Lapuan Virkiä and Nurmon Jymy , he was Finnish champion from 1987 to 1996, runner-up in 1984 and 1986 and third in 1985.
