Nurmo
Nurmo is a former parish in western Finland . They on the Nurmenjoki River in the South Ostrobothnian countryside . The entire population is Finnish-speaking .
At the beginning of 2009 Nurmo was incorporated into the city of Seinäjoki together with the neighboring municipality of Ylistaro .

Numerous wrestlers, also internationally successful, come from Nurmo. The world class javelin thrower Tero Pitkämäki belongs to the athletics club Nurmon Urheilijat -99 . The association Nurmon Jymy plays in the first volleyball league Finland, the Pesäpallo poker players are also among the best in the country.
The Ruuhikoski golf course is an 18-hole championship-class course.
