Harry Emerson Fosdick (born May 24, 1878 in Buffalo , † October 5, 1969 in Bronxville , USA ) was an American clergyman , teacher , author .

Life

Fosdick had been married to Florence Allen Whitney since 1904 , with whom he had two daughters Elnor (*  1911 ) and Dorothy (*  1913 ).
