Harry Little

Harry Kleiner (born September 10, 1916 in Tbilisi , Georgia , † October 17, 2007 in Chicago , Illinois / USA ) was an American screenwriter and film producer .

He made his debut as a screenwriter in 1945 with the film Murder on their wedding night . Three years later he wrote the screenplay for the film Street Without a Name . He also worked for television in the 1960s, including writing some of the scripts for the television series The People of Shiloh Ranch . From 1957 to 1960, Kleiner also worked as a film producer. His first film he produced was Ums Nackte Leben , for which he also wrote the script. He wrote his last two screenplays for film directed by Walter Hill . In 1987 , this was how Erased , a year later Red Heat was staged.

In 1969, Kleiner was recognized for his screenplay for Bullitt at the Edgar Allan Poe Awards in the category Best Motion Picture .
