Harry Perry
Harry Perry ( May 2, 1888 - February 9, 1985 in Woodland Hills , Los Angeles , California ) was an American cinematographer .
Life
Perry began his career as a cameraman in the Hollywood film industry in the film The Sins of Rosanne (1920) and made almost 30 films over the course of his career.
For his camera work in Höllenflieger (1930), he and Tony Gaudio were nominated for the Oscar for best camera at the Academy Awards in November 1930 .
Other well-known films that he made with him as a cameraman were Shadows (1922), Wings (1927) and Korvette K 225 (1943). He worked with film directors such as Tom Forman , William A. Wellman , Howard Hughes and Richard Rosson .
