Harry Tallert
Harry Tallert (born July 11, 1927 in Beuthen , † November 29, 1997 in Bremerhaven ) was a German journalist and politician ( SPD ).
biography
education and profession
Tallert moved with his family to Bremerhaven in 1928 and finished school there with a secondary school leaving certificate. In October 1944 he was taken into Gestapo custody, in which he remained until the end of World War II . After the war, he initially worked as an employee, trained as an editor from 1948 to 1950 and then worked as a journalist.
politics
Tallert had been a member of the SPD since 1953.
From 1955 to 1965 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship . As electoral district winner , he was a member of the German Bundestag from the 1965 to 1972 federal elections . In parliament he represented the constituency of Bremerhaven - Bremen-Nord .
