Harold Barns "Harry" White (born January 15, 1901 in Manor Park , † 1st quarter 1983 in Southend-on-Sea ) was an English football player and coach.
Career
White, who was also known locally as a cricketer , played for the Leigh Ramblers from Leigh-on-Sea in the local Southend and District League in 1920/21 and scored 50 goals this season as a center forward before moving from Southend United to the Football League Third Division South was fetched. After two goalless missions in the center forward position in the fall of 1921, he was called up on his third season appearance in April 1922 as a left wing runner , a position he also held in his only season appearance for the first team in the season 1922/23 .
In the summer of 1925 he was committed by Grays Thurrock United on the occasion of their premiere season in the Southern League and was listed as an outside runner. In 1929 he took over the coaching post at Grays Thurrock, a year later the club withdrew from the Southern League.
