The Hartenberg is a 332.6  m high mountain in the Palatinate Forest ( Rhineland-Palatinate ).

location

The Hartenberg lies to the west of the Palatinate municipality of Ruppertsberg on its boundary, its summit is approx. 2.7 km from the edge of the settlement. To the north of the Hartenberg lies the Mühltal, through which the Weinbach flows. To the south of it lies the Klausental with the Klausenkapelle, through which the Zeiselbach flows .

The Hartenberg is on the edge of the Haardt low mountain range , which belongs to the Palatinate Forest natural area.

  • Greater region 2nd order: Palatinate-Saarland layer level land
  • Greater region 3rd order: Palatinate Forest
