The Harth Musik Verlag / Pro musica Verlag Leipzig-Berlin was founded as Pro musica Verlag Leipzig-Berlin in 1946 by Carl Clauss and Erich Pastänier. Since 1960 the publisher has been working with state participation. The published list of Harth music included dance and popular music , brass band, appropriate education and Studies for folk instruments, popular band spending and hit librettos . The Pro musica publishing program consisted of chamber music by classical and contemporary authors, school and study works, play literature and rental material for orchestral works. In 1990 the publishing house was a GmbH for a short time and was closed. Legal successors are the music publishers Hans Gerig, Bergisch Gladbach. In January 1992 Harth Musik Verlag published a comprehensive directory of dance and popular music (evergreens, hits, dance music, brass music, concert pieces, play pieces, chansons, songs, rock & pop, folk tunes). On 59 pages, the title, type, composer / lyricist, arranger and edition are listed for around 3500 published works.
