Willy Schüller (actually Willibald Schüller ; * July 21, 1930 , † April 11, 1965 ) was a German lyricist . His main job was most recently as deputy head of the language teaching department at the TU Dresden .

In 1953 the first song with his lyrics was published. Although he only had a short creative period, the list of his songs and the interpreters he provided with songs is long. He wrote challenging dance songs with various composers from the GDR. The collaboration with Alo Koll , Walter Eichenberg , Harry Seeger , Hans Bath and Georg Möckel was particularly close .

In the evening the stars ( Harry Seeger ) come with the singer Jane Swärd from Sweden - (she also won the Schlagerfestival in Rostock during this time), but also listen, my heart with Helga Brauer , I believe in love with Fred Frohberg and I'll get you on the roof with Bärbel Wachholz.
