Hartmann von Bubenberg (* around 1367 , † around 1421 ) came from the Bernese patrician family von Bubenberg and was the son of Johann III. from Bubenberg .

Life

In 1367 studied Hartmann of Bubenberg as Constance canon in Montpellier , 1373 and 1379, he studied in Bologna , the canonical law . In 1384, 1391 and 1406 he was an official of the Constance Curia. From 1391 to 1406 he was vicar general of the clementist administrator Heinrich Bayler; then he switched to the Roman obedience of Bishop Marquard von Randegg. From 1394 to 1421 he was provost of St. Mauritius in Zofingen and from 1397/98 to 1421 of St. Ursen in Solothurn . Hartmann improved the economic situation of the Solothurn monastery.
