Hartmut Kröber (born June 11, 1956 ) is a former German soccer player. From 1980 to 1982 he was called up by 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig in the GDR Oberliga , the top division in GDR football .

Athletic career

Hartmut Körber was only present in three seasons in the higher-class football match. However, he played nationwide from 1975 in the GDR junior league , in which he was GDR champion in 1976 as a defender of 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig. The Leipzig club then used it in the junior league, in which in the first few years was only sporadically, but from 1978 onwards regularly continued to defend.

Also in the 1980/81 season Kröber was still in the squad of the Leipzig youth team, but already received his first appearances in the GDR league. He benefited from the failure of several regular players from 1. FC Lok, so that he could play as a defender again in five league games. He was in the starting line-up four times for the entire duration of the game and was a substitute once. Also in 1981/82 Kröber was not part of the league squad and was only used as a substitute in one league game for 13 minutes.

After his last league appearance, Hartmut Körber disappeared from higher-class football for four years. He appeared only briefly in the 1986/87 season at the second-rate GDR league club Chemie Böhlen . There he played a game in the GDR league and a preliminary round game in the GDR soccer cup with the 2nd team .

This ended the career of the former junior champion after only seven games in the league and GDR league.
