Hartmut Rübner
Hartmut Rübner (* 1960 ) is a German political scientist and journalist .
Life
Rübner studied political science , psychology and social science at the University of Duisburg-Essen , Sheffield Hallam University (Yorkshire, England) and the University of Bremen (diploma in political science) until 1992 . He wrote his thesis on the history of anarcho-syndicalism . In 2002 he was in economic history with the dissertation Concentration and Crisis of German Shipping. Maritime Economy and Politics in the German Empire, in the Weimar Republic and in National Socialism for Dr. phil. PhD. He then worked for the "Children of Resistance" project funded by the German Research Foundation and held a teaching position at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal . Since 2009 he has been a Research Fellow at the Foundation for Social History of the 20th Century in Bremen and since 2014 a member of the editorial team of the journal Sozial.Geschichte Online. He published mainly at the time of National Socialism . Rübner lives in Berlin.
