Ubaldo Continiello

Ubaldo Continiello (* 1941 in Monteverde ; † January 20, 2014 in Rome ) was an Italian composer primarily of film music and popular songs.

Continiello comes from a farming family. He graduated from the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome and wrote his first film music in 1967 for a spaghetti western ; After a five-year break, almost fifty other works followed in 1972, including many comedies (at the beginning he worked almost exclusively for Franco Franchi films), later also horror films (such as the controversial Mondo Cannibale, Part 2 - The Bird Man ) and erotic films . Also as a song composer a. a. Continiello worked for Tony Monaco ; about 400 works from his pen are listed in the SIAE .
