Gangbuster is a 1977 crime film by Alberto Marras. The film, originally titled L'avvocato della mala , was premiered in German on September 30, 1986 on video.

action

The young and unemployed lawyer Mario Gastaldi (who is called Mark Carter in the German version), after his private detective agency is held responsible for the loss of mafia money, agrees to act as an agent for stolen paintings for five million lire . He has to do with the boss Peseti, who specializes in the illegal art trade, as well as with engineer Farnese, an actually unsuspecting man, who is responsible for numerous kidnappings. After receiving three hundred million for two gauguins for peseti, he allows four robbers to attack him and then share the money with them. However, the loot turns out to be useless because it comes from a ransom charge from a kidnapping case and is tagged. When a killer Farneses approaches Peseti, he understands that Gastaldi was behind the attack and has his girlfriend Paola kidnapped in order to force Mario to hand over the key to the hiding place of the money. However, the shrewd lawyer can free Paola, avoid all pitfalls and bring the boss Peseti and his men to the law.

criticism

In terms of craftsmanship, the very confused film is at a very reasonable level, says Michael Cholewa in his genre overview.

synchronization

Lovelock is spoken by Hans-Georg Panczak , Mel Ferrer by Alexander Allerson , Carati by Christina Höltel and Tinti by Christoph Lindert .

Remarks

The film uses entire sequences from dead people paving his way as well as scenes from other films to which director Marras has written a new story.
