Hans-Georg Panczak
Hans-Georg Panczak (born July 19, 1952 in Düsseldorf ) is a German actor , dubbing and radio play speaker . Among other things, he is the German voice of Mark Hamill , so he also lends his voice to the character Luke Skywalker ( Star Wars ) . Waylon Smithers ( The Simpsons ) , Glenn Quagmire ( Family Guy ) and Emporio Ivanko ( One Piece ) are among his most famous roles as voice actors . He also speaks occasionally to the actor Richard Thomas .
Life
Panczak grew up in Berlin . He received his first role in 1961 as a child actor in the ARD television game For safety reasons . In the same year he began his stage career at the Renaissance Theater , which was followed by further engagements, particularly at Berlin theaters. He took acting lessons from Marlise Ludwig .
As an actor, Panczak is best known to a wide audience from series such as Derrick , Der Alte , Siska or Der Landarzt, and as a public prosecutor in Edel & Starck . He also appeared in numerous episodes of the Tatort television series .
In addition to his most outstanding roles as a voice actor (John Boy ( Richard Thomas ) in The Waltons and Luke Skywalker ( Mark Hamill ) in Star Wars ), his voice has also been in cartoons (e.g. as Waylon Smithers in The Simpsons or Glenn Quagmire in Family Guy ) and in the computer animation film Final Fantasy: The Powers in You (voice of General Hein) and in the animation film Toy Story 2 as the little penguin "Wheezy". He has also loaned Jackie Chan ( Protector , Miracles ), George Clooney (Combat Academy) , Richard Dreyfuss ( American Graffiti ) , Sam Neill (My Brilliant Career) , Kurt Russell (Tower of Terror) , Dwight Schultz (Howling Mad Murdock - The A-Team ) and Sam J. Jones as Flash Gordon his voice.
He also speaks TV commercials and voices in computer games.
In the radio play adaptation of Timothy Zahn's Thrawn trilogy published from 2012 to 2014 , Panczak once again played the role of Luke Skywalker . In March 2015 he took on the leading role of Dr. Lowell in the radio play Madame Mandilips Dolls based on a story by Abraham Merritt .
Panczak's son Jan Makino also works as a voice actor.
