John Steiner (born January 7, 1941 in Chester ) is a British actor .

Life

After finishing school, Steiner worked at the BBC , took acting classes at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and played for the Royal Shakespeare Company for three years . After a first TV role in an episode of The Saint and his movie debut with Peter Brook , he came to Italy through his role in the revolutionary western Tepepa , where he spent his career. (But interesting) The sharp facial features of the slim, tall Steiner laid him on roles as sadistic, cynical villains firmly so in two Wolfsblut films or the late Italo Western Mannaja; He was also shown in the controversial Salon Kitty and Caligula, which was created in the mid-1970s . He was only able to escape this role pattern sometimes in the 1980s when he was increasingly involved in action and horror films . In 1991 he retired from his career and moved to Southern California where he works as a real estate agent .
