Romano Puppo

Romano Puppo (born March 25, 1933 in Trieste ; † May 11, 1994 ibid) was an Italian actor who was best known for his portrayal in spaghetti westerns .

Life

Puppo, of an athletic figure and almost two meters tall, began - after a first appearance in 1961 - in the mid-1960s as a small actor and stuntman, especially for spaghetti westerns . His roles were mostly located on the other side of the law and tied him to mean villains and helpers of the boss. After the western wave subsided, he was mainly seen in crime and action films. In later years he also played comedic parts e.g. B. next to Paolo Villaggio . Puppo died in a car accident.
