Christoph Lindert

Christoph Lindert (born July 10, 1938 in Dortmund , † August 28, 2005 in Munich ) was a German actor , audio book speaker and voice actor .

Life

Lindert attended the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich . His engagements took him to the Münchner Kammerspiele , the Ateliertheater in Bern , the Theater am Dom in Cologne and the Burgtheater in Vienna .

Since the mid-1970s, Lindert has appeared regularly in well-known television series, including Tatort , Der Alte , Ein Fall für Zwei , SOKO 5113 , Wolffs Revier and Alarm für Cobra 11 . In 1979 he took part in the award-winning film Fleisch by Rainer Erler .

In audio book productions, Christoph Lindert spoke about the Commissario Brunetti series by the author Donna Leon as well as works by Friedrich Ani , Edgar Allan Poe , Alexandre Dumas , Jonathan Swift , Mark Twain and Anna Seghers .

As a voice actor, he lent his voice to Giuliano Gemma (in Tenebrae ) and Malcolm McDowell (in Flight into the Future ).

Christoph Lindert was married to actress Ute Mora for 33 years until her death in September 2003. He was found dead in his home on August 28, 2005. According to police spokesman Dieter Gröbner , the cause of death is suicide , as can be seen from two farewell letters from the deceased.
