The Harwell Glacier is a 5 km long and steep-walled glacier in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Maud Mountains it flows from the northern slopes of the Prince Olav Mountains immediately east of Mount Smithson to the upper section of the Gough Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1966 after Lieutenant Thomas W. Harwell of the Civil Engineer Corps of the United States Navy , who was involved in transportation operations as part of Operation Deep Freeze in 1964.
