Hasso Lean
Hasso Mager (born May 15, 1920 in Chemnitz , † January 8, 1995 in Dresden ) was a German writer .
Life
After attending primary school and an apprenticeship as a car mechanic as well as training as an industrial clerk, Hasso Mager was a soldier in World War II . In 1943 he was taken prisoner by the Soviets . From 1945 to 1949 he worked in various professions. After completing a popular judge course, he studied law. From 1951 to 1960 he worked as a public prosecutor, legal advisor and labor lawyer, and since 1962 he has worked as a freelance writer. In 1965 he was awarded a Martin Andersen Nexö Art Prize.
