The Hatch Outcrop is a rocky outcrop to the west of McNamara Island in the Abbot Ice Shelf off the Eights coast of West Antarctica Ellsworthland . It rises just north of Peeler Bluff .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1962 after Lieutenant Ross Hatch (* 1934) of the United States Navy , who was involved in determining the position of this ledge on February 7, 1961.
