Hauke Harder
Hauke Harder (* 1963 in Heide ( Holstein )) is a German composer and experimental physicist .
Life
He is the founder of the “Gesellschaft für Akustische Lebenshilfe”, worked as an assistant to the composer Alvin Lucier and with a group of international composers. His compositional work represents an extreme minimal style and is based on the work of the composers Morton Feldman , Walter Zimmermann and Alvin Lucier. His music was also influenced by monochrome painting and by Robert Bresson's films .
His work as a scientist in the field of molecular spectroscopy has been described and mentioned in Molecular Physics and Chemical Physics Letters .
Awards
In 2001 he received the "Kulturnetz-Preis" from Schleswig-Holstein's Minister of Education, Ute Erdsiek-Rave .
