Hauke ​​Reimer (* 1962 in Reinbek ) is a German business journalist and economist . He is deputy editor-in-chief of Wirtschaftswoche and head of the “Money” department.

Life

Reimer studied economics and journalism at the Technical University of Dortmund . He completed a traineeship at the Westfälische Rundschau in Dortmund and worked for the magazine WirtschaftsKurier and the news agency vwd . In 1997 he moved to Wirtschaftswoche as a financial market correspondent in Frankfurt and from 2003 was office manager in Frankfurt; In the same year he won the Helmut Schmidt Journalist Prize for an article about the hedge fund manager Florian Homm .
