Haukr Erlendsson

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Haukr Erlendsson (* in the 13th century ; † 1334 ) was a lǫgmaðr from a well-known Icelandic family.

In 1294 he was mentioned as lǫgmaðr in Iceland, later also in Norway. The Icelandic composite manuscript named after him, Hauksbók (1306–1308), was written for him, with Haukr Erlendsson partly working on it himself.
